Neuroimmune Circuits Driving Allergic Immunity

The Immunobiology Seminar Series presents: "Neuroimmune Circuits Driving Allergic Immunity"

When

May 1, 2026, 11 a.m. – Noon

Presenter Details

Caroline Sokol, M.D., Ph.D.
Assistant Professor, Medicine
Harvard Medical School

Using the tools of cellular immunology, the Sokol laboratory seeks to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms behind the innate immune control of allergic disease. They study the ways that allergens and venoms are sensed by the body via both immune cells and sensory neurons, and how this sensing leads to innate immune activation. Read more
