Jesse obtained his Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree with a focus in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University in 2011. He worked for several years as a professional engineer; however with a passion to biology, he decided to switch careers to the biomedical field in 2016. He started in the Wu Lab as a research technician in 2019 and works on projects relating to autoimmunity in the mouse model and human samples using CRISPR-Cas9 tools. He also manages mouse colony in Wu lab. Outside of the lab he goes hiking, skiing, and enjoys the outdoors.
