Sydney Verdugo

Sydney graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with Honors and a emphasis in Genetics and Human Health from the University of Arizona in 2023. She joined the Wilson lab in Spring of 2024 and her research focuses on the impact of microbial sensing on the onset and progression of intestinal diseases. When Sydney isn’t in lab you can find her listening to the latest music from her favorite artists, spending time in coffee shops around Tucson or training dogs for fun.
