Congratulations to Dr. Deepta Bhattacharya on being promoted to the title of Professor (with Tenure) in the IMB department. This is the highest academic rank, and Dr. Bhattacharya has achieved it with distinction and aplomb, having contributed significantly to the ranking and reputation of our department in all facets of academic life. His engagement on COVID research and on UA reentry deserve a special shout-out. We are very happy and very proud to have him on our faculty!
