Through the Science Exchange Collaborative with Ventana Medical Systems, University of Arizona faculty will have access to distinguished speakers Ventana periodically invites to Tucson. The Collaborative's next lecture will be delivered by Alberto Santamaria-Pang, PhD, principal scientist at GE Global Research, Albany, N.Y.
As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to evolve, it holds the promise to significantly impact the health-care industry in various areas, including personalized diagnostics and automating decision process for prognosis.
In this lecture, Dr. Santamaria-Pang will provide an overview of an ongoing AI health-care research agenda that is being pursued at GE Global Research across different applications such as radiology and cell tissue analytics.
