Speaker Bio:
I was born and raised in Venezuela. I went to Medical School in Caracas, Venezuela where I graduated with honors. I did my internal medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center and my infectious diseases fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. I am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine for the Division of infectious diseases. I work mainly as a transplant ID doctor. I have around 30 peer-reviewed publications and I was appointed Ad-hoc reviewer for several journals such as American Journal of Transplantation, Transplantation, Transplant International and Transplant Infectious Disease.
