How to Build a Parasite? Explore the Cell Biology of Toxoplasma gondii

Friday, October 4, 2024 - 11:00am to 12:00pm

The Immunobiology Seminar Series presents:  "How to Build a Parasite?  Explore the Cell Biology of Toxoplasma gondii"

Presenter Details

Ke Hu, PhD
Professor
Biodesign Center for Mechanisms of Evolution/School of Life Sciences
Arizona State University

The Hu Lab exploits the richly detailed and invariant cell architecture of apicomplexan parasites to explore general questions in cellular construction and cell biology. The lab is also broadly interested in the evolution of parasitism, in particular, the basic molecular and cellular requirements for one cell to invade and grow inside another cell.  Read more
