BLAISER Program Hosts ‘Medical School Admission Panel’

The Border Latino & American Indian Summer Exposure to Research (BLAISER) Program in collaboration with the Office of Diversity and Inclusion of the UA College of Medicine – Tucson invites the UA community and all interested in hearing a discussion by a group of experts regarding the requirements, tips, trials and tribulations of applying for admission to the College of Medicine. Experts include members of the COM – Tucson and COM – Phoenix admissions teams as well as a medical student. Everyone is welcome to attend.

About BLAISER
Led by the Office of the Senior Vice President for Health Sciences at the UA Health Sciences, the Border Latino and American Indian Summer Exposure to Research (BLAISER) Program is an annual summer program created to address health disparities in Arizona’s ethnically diverse and fast-growing communities. This cutting edge 10-week, undergraduate research experience provides an extraordinary laboratory training opportunity, pairing the junior and senior level student-scholars with preeminent UA Health Sciences researchers. It runs June 3-Aug. 6, 2019.
