American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) - Student Discussion with Dr. Arghavan Salles of TIME'S UP Healthcare

American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) and Graduate Women In Science (GWIS) are facilitating a student discussion with Dr. Arghavan Salles, founding member of TIME'S UP Healthcare, about navigating gender bias and advocacy as medical students. TIME'S UP Healthcare is an affiliate of the TIME'S UP Foundation with a specific focus on ensuring safe and equitble workplaces for women in the healthcare industry. Through data collection and research, the organization aims to draw attention to, and share best practices regrarding gender equity and sexual harassment in healthcare. 

Arghavan Salles, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Surgical Director at Washington University in St. Louis and speaker for TIME'S UP Healthcare.
