Kristina Stepanovic was a UA undergraduate student who worked in the Doyle lab from the summer of 2014 to December 2016. In the lab she investigated the adaptive immune response to stroke and the effects of a second stroke on the adaptive immune response to stroke. When she graduated she received the Outstanding Senior Award from the College of Science, and the Outstanding Senior Award from the Department of Psychology. Kristina is now a Master’s Student studying clinical psychology at Vanderbilt University. In her free time, Kristina enjoys yoga, Krav Maga, and volunteering at psychological treatment centers.
